Service Description

This specialized class is designed for healthcare workers and anyone who experiences tension from stress, anxiety, or jaw clenching and teeth grinding (bruxism). Focusing on the head, neck, shoulders, and nervous system, this gentle yoga practice offers tools to relieve tightness and bring awareness to patterns that live in the jaw and facial muscles. Through mindful movement, breathwork, and targeted techniques--like gentle myofascial release, supported stretching, and guided relaxation--you'll begin to soften chronic holding patterns in the jaw, release neck and shoulder tension, and downshift from a stress response. This class incorporates self-massage, restorative poses, and mindfulness practices to help calm the mind and soothe the body. Class Goal: To provide relief from the physical and emotional impacts of TMD/TMJ dysfunction, and to empower healthcare workers with practices to manage tension and stress both on and off the mat.
